Self painted using electric
compressor and hand sprayer.
Red burgundy color paint ¼ litres cost rp 40.000
Thinner 2 litres cost rp 16.000/ litre
Clear/coating paint ¼ litres cost rp 40.000
Harderner liquid ¼ litres cost rp 25.000.
I have no oven painting room, that bike was painted on outdoor at 8-10 am, medium temperature environment 28-32 celcius with
tropical sunshine.
The critical phase of painting bike, car, motor cycle are we
should mix the paint properly no more no less. Use white color as a base color,
if we do not use white color/bright color as a base color then the color will
not appear sparklingly, blinkingly and perfectly.
Day 1 : rubbing the frame with sandpaper number 6000
Day 2 : painting base color (but I did’t do it ^_^)
Day 3 : painting fist layer main color
Day 4 : painting second layer main color
Day 5 : painting clear/coat color
Break for a week then waxing with compound or wax.
